So this happend Christmas Eve.
Start of the rigid fixture blank for the run.
3.5x2x12 aluminum.
Faced off one side in the VMC, then ripped the strap slots down the side by hand on the Bridgeport.
Strapped it down, indicated along a cut surface, then faced again.
Last photo is from 03:00ish Christmas day, and has the beginning of the table lock profile.
Grabbing three slots on the table, just because I can.
The fixture blank should be finished sometime today, if time permits.

Freezing rain Monday, snow plows overturning in ditches, fire trucks sliding into trees...
Decided to stay home.

You need (4) 3/16 x 3/8 bearings

I think I have 4 in there, Tower has them as 2 packs.
Ended up being cheaper than VXB/McMaster to just get the bearings from Tower.
Everything else look ok?
EDIT:
Ordered the whole shebang, should be in next week, except the backordered pinion shaft.

Well, had a little time yesterday, so one step closer to fixture being finished.
The next step is to get the models for the fixture and case mated together, and generate some toolpaths to punch holes for the 4-40's, locating dowels, and the initial hold down bolts.
I also have a few ideas on how to make things a bit easier this time, now that I'll have a rigid mount fixture instead of one that locates in a vice with parallels. 6 extra years of experience can do that, haha.
I'm tooled up for the most part, with the possible exception of one toolholder for the 1/8" endmill.
If I can stop myself from chasing geese, I'll make my goal of a first piece by the end of January.
I'm stoked this is coming together. You guys being supportive over all these years means a lot to me.

I ended up chasing an entire flock of geese.
The normal "Real Life" stuff got in the way.
Noticed the machine was out of tram, and out of level.
Floor settling/machine settling/having a building 40 feet from a crossfit location.
I swear, they must drop 300# weights. The entire floor shakes like in Jurassic Park.
Plopped the machine onto some 8' lengths of 3" x 3/8" angle iron to spread the load a bit more and re-leveled it.
Also needed to order some tooling/tool holders, so that happened.
When leveling the machine, found a leak in the spindle chiller loop. It's Dowfrost. I'm down a gallon.
Looks like Feb is the new goal.

Well, missed deadline again.
I did refill the chiller loop, so that's all taken care of.
Ordered a 384K memory expansion board for the machine last week, it came in Wednesday and I installed it after work. Feels good to have free space to fill with programs.
I ordered way cover wiper material yesterday, and did some more CAD work.
Updated to Autodesk Inventor 2018 Pro and HSM 2018 as well.
Baby steps.
