RC10Talk - The Net's Largest Vintage R/C Community

The Vintage Nationals was the first time that I've run my car on a track in about 22 years. I got my RC10 Graphite out of storeage just for this weekend.

I have a great time, took a bunch of pictures, but also took a lot of video. I will post the video on YouTube when I get a change. Just keep checking back for "RC Vintage Nationals."

Oh, it was great meeting the guys at RC Raceway & Hobbies. They were friendly and helpful.

I've included the "before" pic of my car. It took me about two days to get it ready for the race. Unfortunately, my driving skills didn't improve much in two days.

But, be warned....you will see me in the A-Mains next year!!!

oh, i shouldn't forget to mention that I completely blew my motor during the race. I believe it was "Tim" who overheard me talking about it and gave me ALL of his brushed motors. He handed me three stock and a couple of modified motors.

I have not used them yet but should get to it within the next week. I hope to put them to good use.

BTW Brandon... I almost fell off my chair laughing so hard at the 1st pic.... carpet oval racer???? How'd that do at the VONATs?

I mostly got a kick out of the WING on the back. It must give like 20lbs of rear downforce...

This looked like a really cool race. I hope it continues and I can go some time.
