The classic didn't do much for me, but this..........this is exciting! On my short list, for sure!
I bet this is taking the wind right out of the sales for those eBay jerks who bought up dozens of classic kits and waited for the quantities to run out so they could sell them for double. I'm 100% capitalist, but it's kinda unethical to horde a limited edition item, then scalp it after it reaches its limit. Karma's a b****, though, and now those folks get to sit on re-res that will barely sell for what they paid.

Might be a good move to change the title of this thread to make it clearer it's about the World's re-re.
I'm thinking not everyone is up on their part numbers, and that's why people are missing this thread.

Hah, yet we're all typing responses back to each other in this thread!
We could start a phone tree though:
Flip: "Thumbs, what do you think of the new Worlds re-release?"
Theytookmythumb: "What??? I was too busy replying to the beer thread in off topic! Let's call Reggie!"
Charlie Don't Surf: "It's 2am, who the F is this? I have an exam in 5 hours to take!"
Flip & Thumbs: "Did you hear about the new re-release!!??"
Charlie Don't Surf: ".........."

I've been doing very little rc over the past 12 months but when i got news the WORLDs car was to be rere'd, it got me interested all over again.
This may come as a suprise but I have never taken the wheel of any RC10 aroundn a track- ever!
I don't care where this car sits within vintage rules or what have you but i'm just itching to-
1. Get my hands on one.
2. Set it up for some track time.
3. Get it out there and get it dirty!
This model represents the perfect RC10 for me and to not have one and to not drive one would be a dirty great shame.

I was told by our service representative at Century Link that he "would prefer to do everything by email and that is why his voicemail is full"
I told him... In person when he came to the office after he FINALLY answered an email like 4 days later.... That "Of course he would prefer to do business by email, then he doesn't have to deal with pissed off people like me throwing f-bombs and calling him a benighted ass!"
He had that blank stare look............
Needless to say, I got his Boss's number from him... Guess what? Yep, voicemail was full!
I finally got a hold of someone up the chain somewhere... They all answer their phones now,

Exactly the same for me, despite having a new built one ! Mainly did 4wd back then and only had 2wd ultimas, top cats and cougars coming in the 90s

Are the front shocks .89 B4 version 2? If so, is this a "new" front shock tower?
