I was just browsing on the internet for sc10 parts, and I find this!

I was the guy who made that plate for you. eBay'r hyoki_lee. haha crazy, I was curious if I'd see it on a forum one day.

cheers!

I should but I am expecting a little one here within a month, so probably not.

Were you the one I sent one with a Ti plate because I was a little late?

Ti plate makes very nifty sparks when jumped on hard surface like asphalt and concrete.

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my sc10, tc4 and trex 450... Pregnancy puts a halt on the hobbies!! I broke all three and haven't had time to fix them lol.

No, I was not the one with the Ti Plate. It sounds cool! When I raced Serpents at night races it was great to see the shooting sparks from the chassis screws.

Good luck with the new baby and remember, your RC cars are a way to relax, so find a bit of time for yourself!

Well.... It's been a while since I posted on this thread and now that Associated has made a Factory Team version of the SC10, I needed to do a few up dates to my original AND FIRST FTSC10!

So I installed aluminium .5 rear hubs.

Image

The new vented slipper, J concepts vented spur and AE crystal clear gear cover. Also the plastic shock caps with bleeder!

Image

Cut down my rear bumper as well, making it a little more race ready!

Mate u wanna run with washers under the head of the screws on the front top plate, helps stop distortion which i suspect is to blame for some of the chassis issues. I got the first basic kit an have not broken anything in 2or3 years except for one front arm. I upgraded mine with the team shocks an gold shafts, cvd's ,ball diff, racers edge 1deg rear hubs an steering bearings. I love my sc10 they rock.

Where do those washers go? Not quite understanding where you put them, and what size are the washers?

Under the screws in the top plate near the st rack, 3of them. Number 4 ally or steel better spreads the load an allows a tighter screw down without deforming the holes in the top plate which split easy around the edge.

Sweet man they should be sweet ay. Cpl pics my boonger, my chassis even has cpl extra holes in it to adjust the steering rack screws without pulling half the car apart an it still holds together.

I see what you mean about the washers. I noticed the new AE FT version has blue countersunk washers with flat head screws now, so I got some for mine! Thanks for the tip!

More updates!

I got rid of the RPM GTII front end for the better performing FT graphite arms and a blue FT aluminium bulkhead.

Image

Got the rear FT chassis weight and the new rear suspension mounts. It will not fit with the old type suspension mounts in any case.

Replaced these upper mounts with carbon fiber ones.

Not a FT option but I thought the J Concepts rear body mount brace was a great upgrade!

Reg I have the shock sets for both the SC10 and B4.1 Worlds sitting at work :P but none of the spring sets came in and are back ordered until mid November  ! I don't want Losi or Avid springs! Yea the slipper whines allot, sounds like me when I'm sick... or so my wife says!

I know they look cool and all, but as a true racer, you got to get rid of the mud flaps! They tend to upset the truck on landings and some turns. Especially on rough tracks I find!
