on the antenna hole- the trans brace has a place for mounting the bracket . been puttin them for years. 2 cents

yes, the transmission holes I have shown on the drawing are for the 6 gear transmission.

OK Guys my friend just sent me picts of our prototype!!! I'm wetting my pants...

A few things...

This WILL be anodized. Most likely black but other collors are possible.

Looks like we made a mistake and forgot to remove the row of small holes on the sides but this is a prototype anyway.

My buddy lives in a city 300km from here so I haven't seen more than the picts but he says that this one is WAY stiffer than the Sassy Chassis.

Note that we added the holes in the back based on jwscab drawing for the grafinte rear bumber. I DO NOT have that part though so I just hope it fits.

Let me know what you think... suggestions are still welcome.

More pictures of the complete car later...

PS: we're also thinking of making a motor plate and shock towers but later...

It's going to be aircraft grade aluminum but I don't know the # I'll ask him...

Yes the RC10T is the next one on the list if this one works (I mean if we can make our fees back and some more to finance a new project). The machines are $$$$ to run and this is just a pet project.

Aircraft grade is 7075, if I am not mistaken.

looks nice, the car should look killer.
if you are doing the motor plate you should consider including the motor guard/rear bumper to it.

Yeah sure we'll have to come up with a nice desing but the simplest and cheapest motor plate would be flat witout bent parts so not connecting with the rear...

That looks awesome! What a difference from drawings to reality. I actually really like the holes on either side as it gives it some nice aesthetics. Now you just have to give your product a name. How about Classy Chassis?

Isn't it what it is? a RC10T chassis... RC10 lenght but with a narrow front... Not sur I understand what you mean...

right. since the truck used the rear holes on the noseplate, the chassis is longer. if you makea truck chassis, it will need to be longer

I think what he(and probably alot of others) would like to see is the short version, so you basically have the front pattern of the truck nose on your chassis there, rather than extend it out to match the truck wheelbase.

Got it... I never realized that the 10T was longer than the narrow nose buggy. I did buy a few 10T but just for the parts...

So yes I'm thinking buggy length but 10T front... However, this configuration might have much less demand for it (other than on this forum). We could probably do a batch for the group here once if we have enough people to make one batch. But we'll see first how this one goes. As I said beforee this is not a business, we both do this for fun (and I need to keep my friend happy as he's not into RC at all).
