that's the first time I seen orange parts dyed on a black chassis...makes me want to do one up like that

I can envision a truck with those colors, but I guess I can say that after having the sand runner look already. I have 2 ProLine truck conversions, one might end up orange  on a Cadillac RC10.

I will be honest, I got those parts like that but I think I am gonna try some tamiya orange acrylic paint I have and test some white parts and see what happens. It was going to be black/blue but I saw the orange parts and ran with, im happy with the outcome and now if I can find some wheels like shodog's I would be perfectly happy!

Definitely some sweet trucks in here. My favorite so far probably has to be shodog's but the other Composite Craft trucks are right there too. That being said heres' mine, I bought it new back in '93 and it's seen a lot of action and been through several revisions (the black chassis got killed by a friend) but now she's restored and resting safely on the shelf

Is that chassis Powdercoated or painted? And what body is that? Lastly--I'm really jealous of those turnbuckles  I have to find a set!

What kind of body is that? I'm really liking it.

Too bad I can't get in on this competition, the only truck I own is a Losi and it's 2 ziplok bags of parts right now :?

There's a loooong story behind that chassis but yes it is factory powdercoated (the enlarged holes were done before I found it) luckily the bottom had protective film so it hardly has a blemish on it. The body is an Andy's (don't know what the name is) I traded toykilla a nip Dahms slammer (losi model) for it. As far as the turnbuckles go I believe they're RCPS. If I had extras I'd love to help you out but these were pretty much purchased around the same time as the truck. Amazingly they survived all the punishment without hardly a mark on them, some real quality stuff!!

Wow I swear I have your twin, blue chassis, white parts, cf stealth tranny brace, mip steering, shocks, sticker placement, TiRods, even the tires. I wonder if some were produced like that as a roller from AE? I did change some things though, like went to blue RPM arms.

Sounds cool, I'd love to see it. I don't know if any came set up this way from the factory, this one started life as a black pan with all white parts. It took a long time to gather all the goodies she has on her now :D

Wait, if it is does that mean I'm out of the competition? :( :P

Honestly I don't know it could be, is there a way to tell?

All I know is the mounting holes were already made when I got it (perfectly I might add, thanks toykilla) and there's no wiggle room in the rear humps around the shock tower. It fits like a glove.

I wish I could remember what body it is. It was ordered from Tower in the early 90's and sat unpainted until i rediscovered all my RC gear recently. It's a little narrow in the rear, though. If the shocks are in the nominal position, they rub against the wheel wells.
