Say what you will about Ford but my 25 year old F150 still runs great which more than I can say for my brothers Can Hear Every Valve Rap On Long Extended Trips silverado.

I hate to admit it, but I may be shopping outside of the "family" for my next truck. I'm not at all please with many of the design flaws of my current truck, nor many of the things going on with the new line-up. Maybe I'll get an Isuzu ... :wink: :mrgreen:

I drive an '05 Chevy Silverado, which I bought new in '05 - I couldn't be happier. Excellent combination of comfortable, spacious interior without being overly bulky outside, decent fuel economy, good power, and excellent reliability, plus, I drove it off the lot for close to seven thousand dollars below MSRP (sticker price) - I am not sure what invoice cost was...

Don't let the slightly frumpy new styling fool you, GM makes good trucks.

Just be wary of the new cost cutting
Budget tyre option leaves a little to be desired over rough ground
