Actually... me too, but that's just because I prefer to see painted shells over clear lexan

Cant wait for the paint to go on! The Optima Mid Custom was my first real RC car, brings back happy memories! It used to be powered by a Trinity 'Monster Horsepower' stock motor and people always thought I had modified it in some way, but I hadn't. Me and my dad just built the car properly, everything nice and free, the car was soooo fast.

Love the Mid SE too, good work there!

It will be painted soon, I just haven't figured out how to paint the rear wing. I didn't have much patience when I did the SE.

Dave, the Mids are special. They're not going anywhere.

Dude,the best way to paint Kyosho wings,is to get a friend to spread the outer edges of the wing apart as far as possible and just lay down lots of light coats of paint.
Works for me.
