Are the rear arms Dukomo replicas that Dual had Dyna-tech make?

They look like some one else's to me, Chad doesn't normally finish his parts with chamfers and rounded ends-

Yea, good idea. I will start a build thread shortly. I think we may figure out this universal thing today so I'll get a build thread started and we'll continue any further conversation there.

Yes, these arms are from Dynatech. Chad already had the design on file so I just got him to make up a pair and then I did some minor mods to make them look closer to the Masami ones (although I couldn't get rid of the holes in the center as Chad told me he needed them to hold the arms during machining). The edges were beveled and the corners came rounded so he may have changed the design a bit over the years.

OK, yeah, 5x10 flanged bearings would do the trick also, you would need to bore out to 10mm, then also bore to depth so the flange can set at the desired depth. either way would work. Using the 11mm, it's just less steps.

Ok, it looks like the universal problem is solved. I won't post any more pics in this thread after this so I can start a build thread. I have put this car together loosely to get all the dimensions correct but I'm going to disassemble it and do a full build from the beginning with images for the new thread.

I just used a dremel and ground down the inside bearing mount inside the RC10 hub to move the bearings closer together. The hub was already drilled to 10mm so it just took a few quick hits with a round grinding stone to move the bearing into place. Now I have the ZC423 longest universal in place and since the bearings are so close together the axle now sits flush with the aluminum wheel hub. I get almost full suspension travel now and the bone isn't popping out of the drivecup (I'll get full travel once I move the bearing out another 0.25mm.... which will also allow the axle to protrude a bit like on the Masami car). So, initial testing is good and this problem can now be put to bed. My new RC10 hubs will arrive soon and I'll start all of these mods from scratch to get the perfect fit.

Those Masami shocks are bottom feed! Your going to have to get some gold ones hard anodized along with the caps!

Yea, the shocks are a tough one. I would love to get a set anodized up to match better but that will be much later if I go that route.

Hi everyone ,Im currently building up an 834b and i'm short a set of rear shafts ,does anybody have the part number ,a compatible part or just the length of them so I can make a pair on my lath .
Sorry to hyjack the thread but I though it better to ask here and any info could be added to the list of already documented part numbers.
