Serious bummer!
I wouldn't worry about it, I don't think the strike will go on for very long. I'm in the same boat as you, though...I can't even get things going until some items that require shipping are sent & received. If the postal strike goes on for more than a month, we can look at extending the deadline.

Well, there's still a spot open. I don't object.

If nobody else has an issue with Mr. ED joining, it's fine by me, too. If anyone objects, a PM would be fine. I probably won't even get to turning wrenches for at least 2 more weeks, at least until Canada Posties get back to work...

So where's everyone's build at? I've played around with various startpoints and think it will be an ultima again (been a loooong time since the last actually).

Mine's gone nowhere since my last post a while ago. Canada Post still hasn't delivered a number of things I'm waiting on, due to the postal strike back-log. There's a couple items I've been waiting for over a month now! :x I'm wondering if everyone would be okay with extending the finish date by a month?

I'd be OK with that. My chassis has not come back yet......

Okay, I edited the first post to show the extended deadline of Oct. 31. I hope I start getting some of my stuff this week!

I think I have all purchased parts that I need. Lots of design and fabrication to do now, so no complaints about an extra month for me.
