After initially seeing the title I had an inappropriate Smurf joke that had to do with a double headed dildo called the "Smurfinator", but I didn't want to derail it before it even got started. Too late now!
I really do like that blue though. It probably "pops" a lot more in real life, but I actually like the subtle shade that it has in the photos. Gives it a nice vintage feel.

The 1980's cartoon would be a little early, but close enough to period correct. That new movie, I watched with my 3.5yo last week, wasn't bad. I didn't realize Smurfette was originally evil, actually created by Gargamel to infiltrate the group.

Smurfs were created in Belgium by Peyo and before being a cartoon, it was a comic. Their original name is "Schtroumpfs"! The movie looks a bit heretic and very Hollywoodian...

I've been trying to get some projects finished up so tonight maybe some more work on this car!

I decided that the rear tires should be the Worlds winning TR32's (in 2.1 oddly) and that the 410 MxC was too big and am going with a T-1 until I can find a M1c

Little more work tonight I hope

Slightly off topic, but do you have a part number (or another source) for those white nuts that hold the shocks on?

Associated 6295 has the plastic, standard and lock nuts in 4-40. All of the kits I have seen have the white nuts. If you get the pack of 4-40/5-40 nuts most of the stores will have the newer black nuts. I have also seen white 4-40 plastic nuts at my local hardware store. They look identical.

Mini update....
Added a super tidy Novak T-1 soldered in (*gasp*) the Mr A, and added a 132h servo plus the Reedy 1400 scr's in stick pack style with Race Prep connection connectors.
