Gorgeous build - looks so fresh with all your new electrics etc, talking of which, the low profile Savox servo that i've got is the SC-1251MG - which I think has new been superceeded with an even quicker/powerfull version!
Can't wait to hear how you get on racing this.... for me on looks alone its already a winner!
P.S; those turnbuckles look to be either early Lunsford or RCPS?

Oh my!

This whole thread from start to finish has kept me on the edge of my seat just waiting for what is next. Very well done! I love it!
I too would hate to see your car get dirty now, but like you said, you need to see how it performs. Keep us posted.

What are your impressions of speed passion? Have you used it before? I am always interested in other options that seem to be a little more economical.

that's one heck of a gorgeous-looking runner, bob! Much better than some others' shelf queens! The attention to detail is fantastic

Many thanks! It has turned out to be my current fav. Right on Dan about the paint. Brandon has some slick old school paintjobs.

Can't say for sure until I run it a bit, but first impressions are nothing short of great. Very nice feel to eveything about it so far. The programming card is super easy. Will eventually try out the wifi capabilities which allows all changes to be made from an Android or iphone wireless.

Gave this thing a good shakedown on the street today. Played around a bit with the Speed Passion ESC. I can say for sure it is VERY smooth. Way better than the Associated ESC I have in my OIN build which is like a on/off switch sometimes. The programming box is straight forward. I have the Wifi module on the way that allows you to make all changes and monitor the ESC from your iphone. Will report back on that.
Just from playing around on the street a bit, this car is much more predictable than the OIN car. Not near as twitchy. Hopefully I'll have some track time in the next week or so.

Those are late RCPS links, 95-96 era. Bob, dump that servo saver for a straight servo horn for a much more constant steering feel. You can't hurt that 9550 servo-
