Quite a bit higher than Tower. Placed my Tower pre-order this morning.

Re: Tamiya Fox re-re
No kidding. This is also another must have for me. I don't know how urgent it is to pre-order this. It may not have been for the RC10 either but their marketing dept. has done a good job of putting the "limited" word out there.huminski wrote:With the RC10 Classic and NovaFox both scheduled for August, it's going to be an expensive, and fun, late summer!!!

Re: Tamiya Fox re-re
Hate the altered name but love the re-release. I got my original Fox back in '90 at a hobby show for only $60. Even back then I was collecting vintage RC stuff. At the time, the Fox was just an old has-been kit that the guy was trying to unload. Just 2 years earlier it would have set me back $135. I was very happy. I remember it being very quick.

I was looking for some retro videos and found this.

I don't know Japanese but I knew what they were saying

I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

I agree..glad they're re-releasing it but the name is horrible. I had a used original a few years ago I picked up off Ebay, used it for a while then sold it on to fund the purchase of a used Wildone that I still have and love -- won't be getting rid of it. I won't be getting the re-re NovaFox as I like the realism of the WildOne better but it's still cool for those who are nostalgic about it.

Friction dampers? Really? And I don't see any sway bar in the new photo on the web site, surely that would be annotated on the photo.
I might back out of this one, kinda disappointed.. Then again, a couple quick upgrades.......

Re: Tamiya Fox re-re
Odd, under the specifications tab near the bottom it also says "Special feature 3 : Features dual CVA dampers at the rear and 1 horizontally-placed CVA damper at the front." BUT just a little above that it does say friction dampers. For almost $200 it better have oil-filled shocks. I meant Tamiya still makes those shocks (only in black now??) so why couldn't they throw in three of them.huminski wrote:https://www.tamiyausa.com/items/radio-control-kits-30/off-road-buggies-36450/rc-novafox-58577

Re: Tamiya Fox re-re
it's just poor wording, they are clearly yellow cva's in the pic.
friction would have a screw in the face of the cap.
