Just watched a bunch of video of the 22-4 and the thing is freakin' awesome. I've never owned a 4wd buggy, and this thing will probably be my first, even at that price.

I just spent months and about $300 rebuilding a vintage car and I'm sure I could track down an XX4, but I don't know if I'll enjoy the "hunt" again. I'd rather just get a box in the mail that has everything I need and race it the next day.

Hopefully the street price will be back in this world. Also,, hopefully some of the new parts will retrofit to the old xx4. Id buy one as well, if t were priced within reach,, just to compare in my own shop with a couple of OG xx4s.

My LHS wants $500 for the new 22-4 as a roller. Seems a little steep for the club racer type. Not sure what group they are shooting for to sell these?
