I don't feel like opening up holes or anything so I'll just buy the few I need. It's cheaper and easier than buying the bit. It's not worth tearing down what I have together to return it all and piece mail the screws I need and wait even longer than I have.
Sorry to bring this back up, but I'm just appalled that they would suggest you buy another product from them and hack up your vintage r/c to make their product work properly- and make no mention of this on the product page.

Nice car though, I hope you get it running soon.

They offered to take them back but I had them already in, mismatched, mixed together that it would've been more hassle. I've used a lot of them, a lot won't get used. I've had to counter sink some holes that had the Associated screws sitting proud.
