Change up the screw pattern on the bottom to make it easier to do the mid-motor swap...

Heck, if you're THAT far along...why not incorporate the arm mount hinge pins in the lower case?!? Might save some space on the back end and make 10T arms a viable option to widen the stance in the rear...

I'm looking at having holes REALLLLLLLY close together to get it to fit as it is!

Those are good ideas. Let me finish the stock replacement and make sure it works, then the sky's the limit for what can be done. 8)
Another option I'm going to explore is a 4-gear version for mid motor cars.

Edit: First post updated with running list of projects

You've got a lot of ideas out there...let me see if I can mock up the rear end I'm wanting to try, and if it looks like it can work, I'll be in touch. Right now, I've got a pile of parts that I want to fiddle with...just no time to do it.

I wish I had CAD/CAM skills...I could probably take some measurements and 'build' it virtually to see how it works.

you wanna make a bunch of old guys giddy, make a front 4wd gearcase for an RC10. You already have the stealth case drawn, just chop off the top shaft, and close up the hole.

Thanks for reminding me, I do intend to do that too. I'll add it to the list 8)

Let's just start a new thread where we can basically crowd source a new car design! Technology is an awesome thing!

liking this mid motor talk. after seeing yours and the jrx5 link one, i want to buidl a mid motor with spares. but with bulkhead and trans options, might be a little fun if you cna do these.
