How can I get NL parts?

These NY parts are "Kyosho"! I broke the steering rack body mount yesterday! I too would like to continue running this car but if this keeps up I will retire this car!

I'm waiting for reply from Shapeways.
In fact I asked also if NL parts can be ordered from US...

I tapped the body mount/steering post. Then cut the head off a screw, threaded it in the post, spun it in a cordless drill and sanded down the post until the steering rack bearings slide on smooth.

Ordering NL parts would be awesome if they can enable that.

OK... Shapeways will investigate this trend of US plant made parts breaking much easier than NL made parts.

No need to send broken parts anywhere but I need to send them a list of order numbers.
So please PM me name of part that was broken and Shapeways order number. I will make a combined list and send it later.

I was told at the moment there is no way to assign order to either US or NL factory.
Lets hope they find the reason for these lower quality prints...

This part of my emails to Shapeways team probably interest you the most:

"You can indeed tell your customers to send us some pictures of the broken models and also let the order number, this way we can create a complaint out of this and request to have the broken models reprinted."

So if you feel your parts are weaker than normally please contact Shapeways...

This will also help them to analyze and tune their SLS machine re-calibration cycles.

If you hit the wall with your car and break parts, I woudn't blaim it on SLS prints :D
Personally I'm not going to make a complaint about my front arm I broke after hitting a car just after big full speed double jump.

Niki, I'm happy to say that Rod and I had a pretty successful evening of running the NIX91 buggies :D Neither of us broke anything and with some serious tumbles too.

Can't wait to try out the new parts though...gonna have to break these ones first lol
