Take a look at the neoprene stealth transmission gaskets, now available on eBay in gray, blue, purple. They are the best. Car looks fantastic.
I've seen those gaskets and could see them as being very effective. In my case, I don't want to "hide" my machined aluminum trans spacers.

I'm going to use a Hobby Wing XR10 Justock ESC. Great value for the money at around $54.00. To place it inline with the battery will require some trimming of the bulkhead battery box. Fixing to make that happen this morning.

Did you make the machine battery box? That is a nice piece. I am talking about the one holding the 2s Lipo, not the bulkhead above...

I understand about hiding the motor standoffs. The neoprene gaskets can be trimmed to show the spacers and still hold themselves in place, as you probably remember from the felt gaskets. They fell apart on the outside of the holes first. I just trimmed them away and put the gasket back in place. This would be for a runner of course, if its a shelfer, let that bling shine.

Hi Sandbar, I got the battery hold down (aluminum) pieces from Shining Star. I replaced the delrin stand offs that came with the kit with Purple anodized ones from Tuning Haus. The battery thumb nuts are Exotek.

There was to much (for my taste) axle thread sticking out past the low profile nut so I machined these 2.5mm thick aluminum spacers.

It doesn't make you faster, just looks good. 8)

Gear bowl :D
I probably would have my cereal out of it in the AM.
But a very nice display stand for an awesome build!

Got the tires, all that's left is to squirt some colors on the body.

Excellent job! I always look forward to your builds! I have been waiting to paint a few bodies but it has been way too cold here. :D

Nomad,

I just picked up the same MST servo saver. Do you know what size ball cup is used with it?

I have a standard 3mm turnbuckle, and the normal RC10 ball cup is too small. But I’m not sure which one actually fits :?:

Hi Zipity, I've used a Lunsford 3mm x 10mm ballstud with Lunsford rod end. You can also use RPM rod ends.
