That looks brilliant scr8p, i'm very impressed, how long have you been working on it?
it took about 2 years off and on to do it. we did a 66 olds 442 also at the same time we we're working on this one. plus a couple other little jobs. we try to have 2 cars going at the same time. that way, if one of the owner's is a little flakey with keeping ahead money wise, there's still something else there to work on.Volumiza wrote:That looks brilliant scr8p, i'm very impressed, how long have you been working on it?
Well, if you'd just fix the darned thing right, it wouldn't keep coming back ...scr8p wrote:one of the guy's that we do work for is a multi-millionaire, so one of his cars is ALWAYS there. he's our Sugar Daddy.
hourly. time and materials. and we don't give estimates. we'll give the people high rough idea of what we think it'll cost to do their car. that's it. there no way you can quote someone a price to redo their 50+ year old car.Halgar wrote:Just curious, how do you charge for what you do? Did I say that I kept things straight? What I meant to say was I handed everything to my sister ...scr8p wrote:keeping it all figured out is my mom's job. lucky her, huh?![]()
