We are doing a vintage get-tpgether on June 26th 2010. We have built a track for short course trucks, There are no large jumps or extreme track sections. The track is very vintage friendly so come on down for a day of fun. It is also a swap meet event and shelf queen show off day. Our track has a long way to go and it will take time but my plans are for a 2 day vintage race in the summer of 2011. At this time we still don't have a drivers stand or some of the things needed for a full blown event this year. We will have a large building done by this get-together for shelter if whether doesn't cooperate.Notable people to be there are Lee Morrison (Gonzo) of Gonzo Whimpy Motors. Lee now works in (Product Development at Horizon Hobbies).and John Adams (Technical director at Horizon Hobbies), John worked with Associated Electronics to develop the (TQ 10). He also was the developer of Spektrum radio systems. This will be a very laid back day of fun swapping parts, showing off are shelf cars and running on the track with some side by side vintage vehicles. So bring some burgers a grill and a eze up for some fun playin. for directions go to http://www.elifield.com we are located in central Illinois half way beyween Champaign and Decatur on Interstate 72 at Monticello

11X3, Lee is working on a flyer for the event, should be on http://www.elifield.com this week. Track is looking good so far. We will have the elevation changes done by the 26th. I am hoping for a decent turn out. We will have a temporary drivers stand installed.
