Well looks like the parts came in early!!!. Thought I would start working on the front gear box. I was curious if we need to bore out the hole( the top) to allow the inner part of the pulley to recess into the gearbox(like the rear gear box)?

Yes, drill it out so the collar on the Robinson Racing pulley just clears the case. Only on the top left side of the case.

Hi Guys,
My parts turned up today!
Now the bad news, I ordered 10 parts but only received 9.
The front tensioner shaft is missing.
Now I have to wait for Shapeways to get back to me.
Cheers, Dave.

Ugh! Sorry to hear that Dave! I guess I've been lucky with them as far as them not screwing up my orders, but i have heard of plenty of other people having that problem.

Hi Brian,
It's just a hiccup,
I am still short some parts anyway.
Shapeways emailed me, no problems, they are going to print another one.
Cheers, Dave.

So just a few more minor adjustments and I should be ready to hit the local track. You weren't kidding about the front end fitting together like a puzzle. I'm sure I'll have more questions/comments as things progrees. Here's a picture of what I have so far.
Thanks again for your efforts.

If you think it fits together like a puzzle, imagine the look on my face trying to make it fit! I'm shocked it all fits where we wanted it to, the mip setup was half the size and took up similar space

Fits like a glove. A very tight glove. A very tight glove that requires you to put your fingers in in a very particular order, lol.
Going back to the first mockup I did with a cardboard "shock tower" and the 1st version of the front trans case I knew it could be done though. Hard to say how many hours of design, prototyping, test fitting, redesign, etc etc we have in it between Jeff and I, but I hope you all like the result

I made some good progress assembling the Ten4 Project. My compliments to Brian and Jeff on all of the great work and long hours making this possible.
I am on the waiting list for the nose tubes and hardware from Brian. I don't seem to be getting a great deal of turning radius.
1) Carrier hits arm, if suspension arms angled down.
2) Bell crank hits trans housing.
I probably assembled wrong, or ordered incorrect bell crank for this configuration. I ran out of time this weekend to debug. Let me know if you see something obvious.
Fixes worked - Thanks Jeff & Brian! Next Steps: Belt Tensioner, Nose Tubes, Body & wing.
Thanks, Mark

Install it worlds style, no nut below the steering arms. The nut goes to the top and no need for the additional nuts

Would it be asking too much if someone could list ALL the parts needed and where to get them? I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the parts needed - there are OEM parts (1st page), Robinson Racing and the Shapeways / CPD parts.
If we could have them all listed somewhere on one page (maybe 1st page or the CPD listing in the Buy / Sell) that would be amazing. And it may help you move more parts! I just want to know how much this little endeavour could cost me.
Thanks in advance guys.

The biggest problem is that there are so many options. The kit was more of a platform to go off and do what you want with, so depending on short or long wheelbase, short or long arm, different towers, chassis configurations etc it's hard to list one list to suit all. Yes, we will have to make up a better list for the necessities but consider it more of a tuner setup. The list should still be accurate minus the hardware kit, Robinson parts and towers.

Will you be offering the steering parts and tensioner pieces sprued together like shown in previous iterations as well as separate?
