Frog, Blackfoot, Monster Beetle. Is Frog a gray chassis, and BF and MB are red? Other than chassis color, are the chassis the same?
My favorite out of all of them is the blue one from the Bush Devil

Totally forgot about the "Bush Devil"
That should be the name of a hair trimmer or a porn actor........

Can anyone identify the wheels these aluminum adapters fit? Thanks
Here's a close up of the inner hub assembly. Does this "NSK TORR FC-4K" help with identification? I'm clueless about these 4WD locking hubs. Thanks again.

NSK is a bearing manufacturer.

Haha... you are correct. I'm a bit slow these days. That isjust the brand & model of bearing used in the assembly. The search continues...

Does anyone know the difference in Tamiya lightweight kingpins #53141 versus #53157.
I am thinking about repairs/upgrades for Tamiya Manta Ray, and both of the items above look like they would work?
Thanks!

They are a different length to each other....
The one you want is the 53141, slightly longer at 4 x 11.5mm, and standard on TL01s and Manta Rays
https://tamiyabase.com/parts/1606-53141
The other is shorter at 4 x 10mm, and suits M01 / M02 Minis, TA03s, and a variety of other cars

Don't ask me why Tamiya did that.... it's fairly annoying that they chop and change back and forth.

Is this a 2 speed transmission? Referring to the double pinion/spur gear. I just dug out the old original RC10DS that we got back in the late 90s, this doesn't match what's shown in the manual, and I haven't even seen this car in 20+ years. I vaguely remember something along the lines of some kind of automatic shift based on ground speed, or RPM, or something...The old Ni-Cd packs are completely shot, so I can't test it just yet.

That is an HPI 2 speed for Associated cars. It relies on centrifical force to throw out pawls that engage 2nd gear. You can adjust how early or late it shifts by adjusting spring tension on the pawls. I'm sure you can find instructions online.

Jerome,
The black parts are Tamiya Technigold brush spreaders, and the silver part looks very similar to the headlight mount for the Tamiya Porsche 959.

The two plastic bits are brush replacement tools for Tamiya technigold ( probably spelt wrong ) race motors , someone is bound to chime in with the exact model motors , hard to find ! Or technipower motors ?

So everything says RC300 to me, except the front "suspension." Was this an AE thing, or aftermarket

I always forget about those!!

I think you nailed it. For some reason, I only think of 300s and 500s.
