That is terrible! They wiped out all of his work and his revenue stream . I don't know which is worse, when they delete an account as an oopsie, or when they shut someone down for wrong think.
Coincidentally, I went to a hobby shop out of town on Saturday and saw a neat little crawler. I don't keep up with crawlers, but when I did, he was my "go to" reviewer. So when I saw the Redcat 1/18 Scouts, I immediately went looking for his review and couldn't find anything. Now I know why.

Yup, with a flick of a switch, he's gone and for no reason or remorse. Because They, Google/Youtube, can do whatever they want, to whomever they want, whenever they want. Makes it tough to have an online business at all, even if you're NOT using either of those platforms because they are still the dominant search engine and video platform, so if they black list you, you're all but done online.
I know this because I've experienced it first hand both. With my own websites there was something about the coding that They didn't like, but won't help you figure out what it is that they don't like, they just slowly throttle traffic until it's gone. The site was just becoming a viable income source when Google kicked it in the teeth. I'm also on a forum that was bullied into censoring conversations They didn't like, either stop talking about whatever They didn't want you talking about or They'd drop you from adsense and search engines.

Thankfully the only problem we've experienced with Google was for a time their algorithm kept erroneously detecting 'adult material' with a small screenshot of the offending page, and restricting some traffic as a result. There was no way to know what they were picking up on but I believe it was due to dinglem's avatar of his wife. There was a button you clicked to alert them when the problem was resolved for them to check again. Each time I got the email I'd click the button, and a day or two later they'd say they rescanned the site and the problem had been fixed even though nothing changed.

That's funny considering that sometimes when I visit this site and haven't logged in yet, the ads they put at the top of the screen sometimes have me scared that I'm going to be sent to jail for having it on my computer. I mean some weird $hi+. I assume those ads are put there by Google, but who knows.

I was able to connect all the dots on the life and times of Novak Electronics, from a young Bob Novak fresh out of college to the growth of a company that would become the predominant name in R/C electronics.
