The clear cased servo is really cool!

Yep, the old Cirrus items are a work of art. Of course, back in 2008, I had no problem lopping off an ear from the servo to mount it in this chassis... would never do that now!

Your RC10 must have been eating a lot of carrots or at least terrorizing some backyard gardens. Those are some seriously orange front arms! Very cool!
Thanks. I wanted something different for my Classic so I copied the AYK Boost paint scheme and dyed the nylon parts orange and black.

I finally started on my re-re ProCAT. This one will take a while as I haven't decided what direction I want to take with it. First up was to get an XLS chassis from Jeff. I run shorty lipos, so the stock chassis is pointless. I removed the stick pack mount ears off the new one for a cleaner look. They always bugged me on the re-re XLS, but not enough to make me disassemble the car.

Not much, but I'm getting antsy waiting on the mail. I started putting the front clip together for a TCP build

Made a CF camber link drop/adapter plate for a project. It's on black, so it doesn't "pop". The final will be with white parts.

Painted two colors so far on my Tamiya M-06 VW Bus kit. Still has that outer factory plastic wrap on it, until I can get the Smoke color for the windows, and spray that last inner step.
I can never paint exactly right, this time I used printer paper instead of newspaper to mask off the top half from the bottom (who has a newspaper anymore!?), and I got a bit of bleeding blue in my white.
Drives me crazy how one little thing, can turn a project like this into obvious amateur hour. I'll never be pro, I just don't want to accept it

. Though, this is how the paint fades on an old Bus, the white layer burns away from the sun, and the underneath blue color peaks out, just like the real thing. Hoping the decals of the window frames will hide most of the mistakes.
I'll have to do better next time.

Rainy day here, so I disassembled, cleaned and lubed the transmission on my 6-gear runner....After my latest runs, I figured it at least needed an inspection.

Yesterday did a lot of practice and tuning on my AE B6.4 and Schumacher L1R. Finally getting comfortable again with indoor carpet and getting used to the L1R which is still a new platform for me.
Also got a killer deal on a used Schumacher Storm ST so decided to pick it up for a less risky way of running Mod Stadium Truck opposed to my LXT or XXXT which although fun strapping a 6.5turn rocket to them is not kind. There is one problem though, I hate the modern truck bodies with they weird slanted back roof. Aero be damned! Luckily there's something that fits perfectly...

Broke the 0.050" tool tip. I'm guessing that Associated probably doesn't sell a replacement, so I'll need to hunt for one with a 3mm shaft.

I've finished the Ranger resto project.
Vintage electrics (apart from the battery) and it's a runner.
