UMP silver label Brushed motor,
im told its UMP diamond electric power motor. 17 turn, double wind.
Never seen one here before, but the seller sent me the details for it.
Ill add it to the "next project" list, which really means "ooohhh thats shiny "and sweep the other dozen half finished projects aside to open this up.

Same Gentlemen sold me this laser a week after he kindly adjusted the buy now on a Kyosho Rocky.
Both need serious amounts of TLC but they were local and didn't need to pay as much again on shipping.
Not convinced i needed either, but got plenty of bits around to make up a decent runner.

And this is why my kids will inherit nothing but the sad dusty lint from my tumble dryer,
Turned up last week as well, an Alesis Electronic drum kit, love this thing, so easy to move around.
Still cant play it, but having fun just having a crack, lifes too short not to.
A couple of mates and I play just for fun, this was for a charity auction cancer fundraiser.
We did get a NZ$100 fuel voucher once a year ago so I guess I'm now professional????.

Haven't bought anything for a while, but picked up a couple of used bodies, originally bought for putting on cars as I build them to sell.... but now that they have arrived, I'm not quite sure.
My photo quality isn't great (taken on the floor at work), but the bodies are a fair bit better than I expected for the price. Sure, they need a bit of a polish, but both the PIAA WRX and Blitz Supra look to be in great condition. The Abarth, well that can go... but the other two could be tough to give up.

Got a couple parts from across the pond from Chimera for the Ultima and more locally a set of tires for the NRC buggies.
The brass bulkhead is pretty hefty @ 119g.

How about what did you get this summer? I bought these 2 months ago, and
finally got around to taking this pic today. I got them solely to poach the RTR electronics out of for two vintage boats I have. I've driven the Bezgar TX124 several times, and it's a surprisingly great boat except for one major flaw. It only turns properly in one direction no matter what you do. I played with adjusting the linkage, and even bought wheel weights to perfectly balance the hull. I've come to the conclusion it's a design flaw of using an offset rudder.

Even this stuff is vintage

They changed the formula 15-20 years ago so had to buy
vintage fabric dye. I'm making a new version of my 1989 RC10L to the exact same spec as I made it back then (will be starting a separate thread soon).

I've wanted a nice Bud's modified for a while and finally was able to get my hands on a nice 12 double. I don't collect the Speed Gems 2 motors, but for some reason I snagged this one. It's probably not long term in my collection. The Victor 1A rounds out my Victor collection pretty well. The one item I goofed on are the slot car motor brushes. These "Champion of Chamblee" 26D brushes are too small for my Checkpoint motors that need brushes. Bummer. They are some nice brushes otherwise.

I got in a set of Yokomo Super Dog Fighter pink wheels, hoping they would take RIT dye well, and they totally did. I wanted red Yokomo wheels, and now I have them!!

Picked up a lot of random Colt parts from a guy on a FB group, for a good price. Weird parts, but good usable stuff.... and some bits that are very reminiscent of PB 2-speed parts
Also in the lot was these two items....
Fair to say, those two items made the whole thing worthwhile! Oh, and the Tamiya 934 tyres in the box are MINT.
