Any updates, new event flyer etc? Will this be like last year, just some friendly driving around and not a race event, which sounds ideal to me and very relaxing after the long drive to get there. Of course if my JRX2 or Topcat lets loose and destroys all so be it

Sorry I haven't got back to you guys sooner. Saturday June 11th 9:00am - 4:00pm. at Eli Field in Monticello, Illinois (
http://www.elifield.com) has the directions to the track. It is (not) a race event just some vintage RC lovers having fun playing on the track and just shootin the breeze about RC. You may bring a BBQ grille if you wish and cook out. If it does rain we have the hanger to play in, there is already a carpet layout in it. I will be bring my RC10'S AND SCHUE CAT for some side by side racing fun. (The track can be seen on YOU-TUBE, look under Horizon Hobby Tamiya Frog re-release review). hope to see you there !!! I know its not a race but what is the track dirt compostion, might as well bring a tire or two that works half way decent.

Losi IFMAR studs (red compound), J CONSEPTS Goosebumps (green compound) these two tires work very well. The track is a yellow clay/dirt compound , alot of traction when damp, traction is fairly decent when dry. Watering of the track is available.

Been busy getting the track ready for the 11th, should be alot of fun running some vintage racers and just hangin' out. Hope to see everyone there for a good time. Again the flier is on our web site(

Found these on a fence at a NEW off-road track. A racer gave them to the owners, after I told them what they are they took them down and have put them in a safe place!!!!!

Great banners bro, I have the Novak banner and will have it up saturday. The track layout has been changed slightly but it is good to go for saturday. So come on out and let's run some old stuff.!!!
