Still trying to figure out the conversion to visible vid on youtube. This is the first attempt, so it looks very grainy on the screen.... looks much better, crisp as crips gets on my HDTV.

The helmet mount is way better, and then it's not as easy to hear the playing cards in the spokes

Sweet trails. I can't wait for it to dry out up here so I can go riding.
the helmet cam makes a much easier to watch video.
Only funky thing I see is that extra leg on your fork 8)

Thanks Anthony. I just wanted to try something different, been inspired by all the cool camera angles on videos like Seasons, Follow me, and Lifecycles. What extra leg on the fork? I haven't been able to rig up the frame mount or fork mount just yet, but I am planning on it.

Sorry, I haven't been around for a while. Taken on some photog responsibilities (again) for a local race team here in GVL.

Pics from the weekend:

Yeah, I miss being behind the lense. This is the first time I've made a true effort since Heither and I went to the IRL race @ Barber two years ago. Felt good. Actually felt good to do both all weekend, shoot and ride.

I rode the course four times, but it was LONG and rained the night before, so I opted out. It started to dry out, but my endurance on long courses isn't there. Pros were turned just over 5 min times. That equals 8 - 10 min for my lack of skills.

This video shows the course pretty well. Good song too!

8) , what kinda stresses are on your body on the big drops with that much travel?

Well, I wouldn't know from experience. That one big gap drop/jump is part of my risk mitigation plan (ie don't do it). But with 8 inches travel in the front and either 8 to 10 inches of travel in the rear, I am told it's smooth as butter.
