I decided to change to sticker on the wing. I had a pink yokomo YZ10 sticker so it was an easy choice to make, same goes for the proline sticker. I also switched out the old button head screws and replaced them with titanium ones.

One issue I had when assembling the WCS was a clearance problem with the shock tower and the rear bulkhead cap. The height of the cap was around 2mm too high to allow the shock tower to fit over it. The problem is caused by the rear camber link plate increasing the overall height. During the build I used some washers under the suspension and shock tower mounts, it looked a bit rubbish though.

As a temporary fix I made two fiberglass shims I think I am going to have to get the bulkhead machined down 2mm to get the correct fit. I think Reggie did this on his WCS build.

I did on my first rear bulkhead and then I just used shims like Dan's car-

Reggie, do you think those shims would have been a solution that Yokomo used on the original Basildon cars?

I wonder if the shims were part of the production WCS... I'll keep the fiberglass shims they do the job.

Hi Guys

I just went and measured my wcs and the rear bulkhead has 2mm shaved off the bottom of it compared to a regular one that would be why nothing is fitting i must admit i always wondered how the top deck lined up with the motor mount with the extra camber link on top like it is.

Thanks Peter, that's good information. The problem with the bulkhead height manifests itself on the top deck mounting point too, as I had to use spacers to stop the deck bowing.

I may reconsider getting the rear bulkhead machined down.

Not sure yet, a take on a Masami shell for sure.

Perhaps I'll get Custom Blitz to paint the shell similar to my MR4 BX worlds shell I got done a few years ago, which was based on a Masami shell. Probably with a darker green and a bit more pink :D

There are no shims in the kit, Peter is correct with the rear bulkhead

Thanks Gary.

I just need to find a machinist that doesn't want me to pay half his mortgage for a month.

It's easy, I did it by hand on a manual mill ( although I took the material off the top of the first one  ) should be about 2 min work-

You would think it would be easy.

I will get it done, it's going to bug me until I do.....

If anyone knows of someone who can do it for me in the U.K drop me a P.M.
