I just looked very carefully, the plastic is upgraded stronger and more flexiable, the rear and front arms are aluminium not cast aluminium. It uses the read shock mount and the tranny mount from the Turbo Scorpion. Upgraded shocks, obviously upgraded tranny. New Pattern Good Year tires.

OH! MAN You know I'm getting one! I hope they are not limited.

If they remake the Optima, one can only hope they do a similar upgrade of the gearbox to include an honest-to-God slipper gear, too...and please, make it backwards-compatible with the original Optima gearbox! 8)

If they put a slipper in the scorpion, you can bet they will do that and more with the optima

Wow! That new set of gears looks amazing. New cars for the optima/ultima series cars would be great.

Looks like I will be retiring this project. I'm going to yank the tranny out and put the stock one back in. Will probably eBay it to fund a re-re scorpion
