OMG I received the NIP parts today from Darryn + some nice goodies, the car will only miss a new body to be resurrected!

Thanks again Darryn, I'm soooooo happy with those little gems. By the way what are the parts indicated by an arrow supposed to be for? I really have no clue :?:

The arrow on the right is the shaft that goes into the front wheel axle assembly. The plastic part that supports the wheel axle is mounted on this thing..

I don't know for the arrow on the left. I think these things where mounted on the rear tires spikes but I'm not sure Darryn would correct me... I'm really not sure....

Thanks, I'm surprised you know this car  You're right about the parts on the right of the picture, since it's the only part of the car I didn't dismantle when restoring it, I didn't recognize them as such :P The plastic parts bag that say "rear tire spikes" are really interesting...

Cheers

Yeah I have a bag of these spikes too but I think they are ment to be used with the fat spike tires not the ones you have on the Boxer.. Or maybe it is the other way around to make the pointy spikes fat (?)... I never tried them...

Cools stuff... Ah you make me miss mines..... :P

Thanks mate - I am happy that you are happy - glad you liked the pressies!

The "spikes" are for the tires - aparently they are excellent in snow and mud!!

After looking at the pics of this restore you have done - I dont think it will be seeing any mud!!

The boxer is the hardest of all of them to find.

I have a spare NIB body - so I just need to make the mould and have it pulled - then I will be able to send a few out to others.

You have inspired me to get my runner going again mate - thankyou!

Cheers
