Yeah that is a possibility I agree

Maybe a modern gold pan to compete with Losi's aluminum chassis.

I think Associated would be completely nuts NOT to re-release this. Tamiya are successfully selling even the most mundane re-release models, that don't have nearly the following and history of this car.
I would buy one, and I would hope it's drilled for the Stealth. (Well, as long as it doesn't end up being gold-plated plastic)
I will try and not think about it until I hear it's confirmed....!

I think a good question is, "How much would you pay for one"? Tamiya's re-re's are, at least IMHO, way overpriced. But evidently Tamiya fanatics think the price is worth it to buy re-re's that often have a good many things changed from the originals. If a re-re RC10 costs $350, would you buy one? What about $400? $500?

yea id like to see "worlds car" bearing steering for less then the crazy $30 price they sell for.. if they rere the rc10 i may have to start hoarding rc10 parts again.

$350 for a rc10 i may say forget it and just buy the parts i want to make my rc10s nicer. tamiya pricing is crazy the rtr bush devil is the same price as rtr t4.2.

I would be all over a $350 re-release. It would be awesome to build a new one from the box again!

That making sense using an old add, passing the old wining concept on to the next generation of Associated race car

Well, whatever the reason, it's nice to see them acknowledging their roots. I had been giving up on them as Traxxas Lite ever since the Monster GT.
What I would really love to see is an all-new car, but with the spirit of the original: comes as a kit, needs more than a screwdriver to slap it together, a little rough-hewn, but very rewarding if you take the time to get it right. There isn't much "hobby" left in this hobby; i'd like to see a nice challenging new kit.

This is why I dislike traxxas products so much, they started this fad...or rather, changed the landscape-

this is a problem with the hobby. people pay crazy prices so the company making the product make prices even higher .

Not a fan of RTR, I'd rather put the kit together myself....As well

This hobby is what you make of it. I have yet to grow tired of tinkering with and tweaking my Clodbusters.
