Seperate the lower battery mounts into two pieces and grind the inside a little, fits for me. You have to remove one of the strap screws and insert it through the strap.

I have a spare battery mount, I might try your setup to see how I like it. Thanks

Woo Hoo, more parts have finally arrived I hope to find a lipo that fits without any modifications as I'd like to keep it as stock as possible. As much as I'd like a 5000+ mah battery for long run times I'd settle for something lower just to keep it stock.

I'm loving this truck more, and more! I'm a first gen. guy, and having a hard time staying true...... one day
