Good luck Don, I hope you get to feel better and can get a new ticker soon.

Well i went to the VA hospital yesterday to a follow up appointmnt and as i was walking that huge long arse walk across the walk bridge tunnel from the parking barage i got to hurtn bad in my chest i had to stop three times to make it into the building,then stopped and rested 3 more times.By the time i made it to the 8th floor clinic i bout blacked out in the hallway.I no sooner get into the room with the nurse i turned white as a sheet couldnt breathe.They rushed me immediately to the emergency room where i sat til 930 pm til they finally got me a room and no fod til got to the room by then was having low sugar from not eating since 9am that morning.They tried to give me fluid pils and i said no way i wanted the gd lasiks shot in my ive.That it was fluid build up in my heart already where my pills werent working properly.So after 7 hours more of pain they finally give me the shot and 3 hours later i was back to normal! as normal as i can be
i just got back home a little while ago and still no word on a time frame for heart transplant.They say to keep trudging along like im doing.

They keep you all day and dont even think about it til i say something 4 or 5 times.Once they check sugar level then apologising to me and run get something.It happens every time.Before i left the hospital ward i ate two whole dinner treys full when left FEELIN FINE NOW But only got 2 hours sleep the whole time there,from screaming patients and nurses and doctors all hours.Any ways going to sleep later guys.DON

You should see if they are hiring, sounds like a pretty lax work environment you'd think with all the media lately they would be trying a little harder!

Don sounds like a really rough time, have not been to the VA (Long Beach) for 39 years private insr. for now. My brother is retired Navy and seems to live at the VA when he is home to go.

Was at the VA its across the street from DUKE.Its mostly DUKE doctors and nurses and civilians.
Just went to eat at Dennys and stopped at store for neighbors for their cigs,and got home taled to them for almost an hour,its so hot got sick feeln had come lay down get online in the ac.Feeln a bit out of it but rest an will be fine.thanks DON

No my pain in the ass little sisters here.So i had to go atlantic beach get my kids then haft be there at the cabin everyday with them then take kids back the 30th .Then go VA again for cardiac failure clinic the 31st.See what they have to say.DON

Still saying want to do a heart transplant,still testing to see if my body levels are up enuff to do the operation.
Still tired all the time but doing fine.My left upper arm still killing me from the nuclear radiation testing they did.For some reason the muscle doesnt relax.thanks DON

Might be angina from the decrease in heart function/cardiac output.
