Fred, sounds like we need to talk...I need to bounce some more ideas off you and mk-zero and see where it goes.
Of course, I'd need time to do that...

Nice.
thanks Joey for dropping that off.
So now have the spacers and cap for your stealth case, so now the plate will fit both sides. (liking the 4wd option also. )

Hi,
There are two parts missing from the McAllister kit, the risers to run a sway bar.
Dave.

Yup. Forgot about them since I don't use them. I'll add them tomorrow.
Shapeways is averaging 3-4 weeks for me right now.
Edit: I just got an email from Shapeways stating that one of my orders is getting pushed back at least a week.

Still a little work to do on the CAD model, but here's a Stealth case that uses 6-gear case mounting. So you could add a Stealth transmission to a 6-gear car without having to drill holes in it.

o.k, now that is just too clever
Cheers, Dave.

That was a brilliant idea. A modification that you could do is to lower the brace holes on top a little bit so it could be at the same height as the brace holes on the bulkhead.
A 4 gear version for the mid motor conversions would also be cool.

Thanks Fred. Yeah, I'm planning on a 4 gear version that will use probably the bulkhead holes and the forward two 6 gear mount holes, and a bulkhead that will use the rear two 6 gear mount holes. The complete 4 gear mid motor conversion will bolt right in. I plan to do the same for a 3 gear mid motor trans.
The first post of this thread has a running list of projects.
