WOw and Wow and Wow,
how and how did the Hydra fit in the RPM conversion tranny? where did you buy the top shaft or made it?any links will do or steps how to make one will be nice, I'm also building a RC10T with a RPM Conversion and is planning to install my Hydra drive kit in it. but is paused on where to get the top shaft to go with it...
all i can say is we're not worthy...............

RPM used to offer a top shaft for the 2.65 conversions that accepted Losi's Hydra-Drive...

I used a shaft made by team losi that adapts Hydra drive to stealth

They were made by tecnacraft and sold from the late 80's to early 90's.

Yeah I did some research on them a little while after making this post and those are worth some money (guys talking about seeing them go for $200-$600). Really nice looking rims too bad they are not produced anymore. Anyone know of anything similar currently bring produced (real metal not plastic).

I already have the losi shaft for the stealth, but howd you get the gear of the conversion kit to the losi shaft?pictures would realy help. hmmmm still need to get me that conversion.
Thanks in advance.

I guess I wasn't very clear. The shaft is made by losi specifically for use in a stealth tranny. It's different than the hydra shaft for losi transmission that came in the complete Hydra drive kit.

I believe his question regarding the top shaft is due to the fact that the RPM trans conversion has a smaller gear on the top shaft. They kept the idler and main diff gear the same, and changed the top shaft to change the ratio. That means that the gear on the hydra shaft would have to be different too.
