yes the stealth is gold and can take some abuse when built properly as for the class it was bracket racing and stock WB so it’s kind of wild lol.
My other DS with stealth and my carbon fiber slipper pad on foam tires and track prep doing 1.8’s at around 71mph repeatedly.

What about the Factory Works case with modern internals? Combined with a spool, I'd think that'd be pretty good.
If you are building from scratch, what about a Traxxas transmission. That Drag Slash transmission is pretty stout.
Yes the Factory Works JC racing trans is a good option since you can run all steel gears inside but I haven’t tried one yet but don’t sleep on the stealth either it can handle a lot of power.

another option is to run the metal gears that DHawk has, I have them in one of my stealths and they are really nice and smooth running.
