^ That makes sense. I sort of figured as much but I wanted to use the shiny aluminum bones that I had. I really like how they look. Thanks for posting that picture. Good to know the part I need to make it actually work right.
BTW I used JCRacing 2.2" wheels with Schumacher 2.2" rubber. I wanted the look of the larger wheels and the old school spiked rubber. It may not be to everyone's taste, but I like it.
How long did it take to get the wheels in from JCRacing?

I don't think it took too long. Maybe 2 weeks at the most.
Hey fellas, I'm new here. Just wanted to show off my new Pro that I got a few days ago. I had one of these when I was 14 back in '91 and decided to get another one. Besides the retrofit tranny, turnbuckles and rear shocks its all original. I didnt...

Ha ha - i've been eyeing up the hydradrive equipped LRM gearbox that you have for sale in the BST section - I presume it is from one of 'those' LXTs that you had brought & wondered if the box would be good to use in a buggy? :?:
Recently purchased this. Been wanting a Pro for a while.
The chassis and running gear are in really great condition. The body, not in good condition but I thought it would be fine for a runner. Unfortunately the body was broken at the rear and...

That poor motor is overgeared like crazy, good thing it has that heat sink
It ran really good! I went hard for like 5 min straight on a baseball field before it started to get hot. It went 33 mph on pavement which was quicker than I...
Here is a Jrx Pro-se i picked up for 45.00. Doesn't appear to have been ran much, im thinking he broke the shock end and then never ran it again. This was my favorite car i had when i was younger and i raced the hell out of it.

The big selling point when I was in the stores was that they didn't break and you had better clearance for a large servo saver
That ruins the Losi panache. Everything is supposed to be breakable all the time!

So I've had an old beat up Junior 2 sitting in a box in my garage for years. Over the last couple of months I bought a couple of used vintage losi parts lot and went to work. Heres what it looked like before:
