The site birthday calendar doesn't have you yet, but Happy Birthday! I think you being fluent in the universal RC language of 'drive cool stuff' was all that was needed. That is an awesome birthday present, being able to drive and enjoy RCs in good company.

First day practice video.....sporting the OG Paragon T-shirt. Didn't bust out the Whippoorwill T until day two....cuz I was nervous as heck on day 1, after so many years....didn't know if the set up, the reflexes and the eyes were still gonna work. Bobbles here and there and maybe pushing in the corners a bit.

More random photos from the run last weekend.....Just a great track and great vintage meet-up....couldn't have asked for a better group of people to drop the OG Lynx back on the track after so many years! Most of the people I raced with bitd have either passed away or moved on from this sport/hobby. For what it's worth, and just my opinion.....dust'em off and run'em....life is short and the smiles were big last weekend, from everybody, all around the track!

For those interested....timed run, "new" 2500mAh 6-cell SCR NiCd saddle packs, re-wrapped with updated retro shrink wrap, 15T Double Revtech brushed motor....6 min 30 sec run time...wish I had these packs back in 1988

Found another chance to run outdoor, on-road asphalt (can-am) at another great vintage meet-up/weekend....much tighter course, was designed for 12thscale. Took a while to get used to the track and find the right setup....but in the end the old Predator Lynx hooked up pretty good. I'll post a run video once my friends send them. Some pics below....I brought both cars this time. The beer pic was after the last run today/Sunday

Another run video from my second vintage meet-up this year....this track was MUCH smaller than the last track. The previous run videos were from a 1/8th on-road track in Montlucon, France.....fairly wide open, but if you ran off the track, you were in the grass. This time was in Belley, France....a true old-school parking lot style track, BUT, really small, mainly designed for 1/12th scale.....but I think the old man and the old Predator Lynx didn't too bad

(fyi- a special old Revtech 20t Triple under the hood).

....also I highly recommend if you have trouble on a tight track passing traffic.....just jump the barrier and hit the gas,

A little to aggressive into that one corner.
