Not really. Its about as rare to find one of these kits in unused pristine condition as it is finding a giant squid in the big ocean.

6 year update.

I finally got sick of looking at this dirty POS. I tore it down to clean it up and try to get some of the white back. I'm up in the air about getting rid of it and it ain't gonna bring any money the way it is. So here we go...

Yikes, a combination of dust and oil on virgin RPM parts... I hope you manage to suck out the oil from the plastic fantastic pores  I'll be back here to comment in 2022.

6 month update.

So I cleaned up all of the plastic parts and tried to whiten them. As you can see in the pic, didn't work out so well. And to be honest, I'm about as much in the mood to keep trying as I was to build the car to completion over the last 9-10 years that I've owned it.

So now I'm debating whether to just dye it all black and be happy with it, or, reassemble it and live with it. Whatever I chose, here's are the rest of the parts that will be going on it. Kinda thinking about just getting rid of it too, but I want to at least finish it before I do.

Jason,

Remember A LOOOOOONG time ago you made replacement Battery hold down posts for these......

I STILL haven't built this thing. I need to get to building mine. I love this RPM chassis, so stocked I have a couple, eventually I would LOVE to run one, but those RPM Worlds arm are so treasured, I fear what could happen IF.....

I don't feel so bad that mine are sitting in a box......... years later. At least we can still appreciate them

I wondered about Dying mine, or one of them.... but other than BLACK, does a Dye job EVER come out looking right?

Stick with it Jason!

don't go near the dye, man.....even yellowed it's still a collector's item as is. can't be too many left, even in that condition.

I just totally screwed up a white stealth case by putting it in a pot I thought I never used dye it. until i checked it minutes later and now its a weird partially dyed grey/brown/red. UGH.

Yeah, that was a while ago.

I have a bunch of old pots that I use for dying parts. Because of the pitting in the bottom from the teflon coming off, I worry about not getting all of the previous dye out of it. So I have one just for boiling parts, one for black, one for red, etc.

The RPM parts are definitely an animal of their own when it comes to keeping them white.
It would be cool to have a runner with some natural 'patina'.
