The top piece looks like a servo mount of some sort with the elongated hole top right.

The top piece is "Carbon Battery Plate Set TA03F Pro" - see http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tamiya-53261-OP261-Carbon-Battery-Plate-Set-TA03F-Pro-/130591877742?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e67e1ea6e.

Ok,

here is an item on ebay, appears to ba an Italian made vintage RC from probably early 70's, possibly 60's..??
The listing has quite a few great pics of the car and the VERY primitive tranny, servo, and ESC? setup..

Anyone know if this is something worth buying?? Looks cool for sure..

Ferrari P5 is from 1968 so later 60's early 70's. Too bad it's missing the glass as it looks pretty cool!

just to bring it up to page. got the red stuff and still haven't gotten any ideas besides a possible brace suggestion. Any other guesses to point me in the direction of investigation? While you are thinking of this I was told this was an ofna TC but another told me it was Tamiya  . I laugh because I have no idea but thought someone here might've seen it before...ImageImageImage
thanx again.

The small brace on top is for the Optima Ram, as are the suspension arms below. The small L angle piece between the two is a body mount that uses velcro to attach bodies. Not so sure about the big part on top.

Thanx Aaron. That helps a lot. Gives me a direction to start looking for the unidentified piece. This was one of those bid to watch and won type things so hopefully we'll figure out what that last piece is so these can get 'adopted' to a new home somewhere

This is where we miss the "Guru of Hot Trick", ole Woobergoober..... he would have told you in a second that the large part is a Hot Shot rear mount... like in the pictures here, first pic: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=66704&id=3729. Took me a while to find, though.

And Thank you Alex :!: . Been trolling thru 'hot trick' in the non-rc10 section and between the slow DSL and broken pix its been really rather frustrating...

Did Hot Trick make different Optima arms because those are different from mine.

Could be Hot Shot arms as well, hard to say... can't see pics clear enough of the Hotshot arms anywhere to make a decision.... although all pics of the Optima HT arms seem to agree with you.
