Well I still needed to unglue the front tyres and reglue them on to new wheels
And charge the batteries in my camera
I've had good success with boiling them, and that's what I have tried to do for the last hour
however
The rubber gel glue I used this time just will not slip, not even in 100 degree C water
I rear on the back of the box that it can withstand temps from -20c to +120c ....Damn !!!!
Looks like I need to get a new set of 2,2" switch tyres for the front
I might get a 2nd set for the rear

yeah, for just one set of tires it might not be feasible to do the acetone thing on them...

No and I'd rather have a 2nd set of tyres
and don't forget that the front tyres were narrowed to 1,2"
I have a set of 2,2" wide AE front wheels than I'll use with the Jato hubs
And I made new front spindles to match
Also thinking about making my own 1" wide beadlock front wheels for the Jato front
Any thoughts ?

Regarding beadlock wheels
I do have Tamiya and Associated 3 piece wheels
and it's something like that I'm thinking about
My idea is to perhaps make
3 piece 2,2" wheels, 1" wide front and 1,5" wide rear
perhaps with a center hub so I can use either bearings or 12mm hex mount

a good starting place is the narrow rc10t fronts. They measure approx. 1-1/4" unless I misunderstood which direction you were going for aesthetics...

You are absolutely correct Todd
That was what I had in mind, I've searched for those narrow 10T wheels for a very long time

Nik posted these photos, on the Traxxas forum, of his Traxxas buggy with Losi SCB body painted to resemble CJ Greaves' TORC buggy

Hey Todd
It's really great, going from a 3000kv to a 3700kv has completely transformed the driving experience

It's not a Ford ..I build it allot stronger ..Well the rear cage isn't "SnoopMaxx tough"
I'll have to strengthen the rear cage.... again
