A superb effort - great looking truck, glad you finally found the XL chassis! Patience pays off in the end.

Did you pick up the CR bodies on eBay from A&L?

Thanks! I started to doubt if one would ever turn up. They have become very hard to find now.

This forum has been a bit of a ghost town lately. I hope things liven' up soon!

Update -New pictures of how she currently sits. I still have not painted a body for this build. Other than that, she is basically done. I actually have more vintage upgrades I could add, but for now I like it how it is. Any suggestions always welcome.

I have NIP rear arms with the Silver lettering, and the correct grey tie rod ends, I just haven't gotten around to putting them on yet.

I have to say, this build is what lead me to join this forum and purchase my own xxt project to start working on. Absolutely beautiful.

Wow! That is one of the greatest compliments I have ever received. Thank you so much. A lot of work goes into the builds as well as the build threads. I was inspired by the builds from Jamin. Great to hear my work has had a positive effect on someone.

This is very small but key change I just made. I've been looking for the larger e-clips in the correct gold finish to match the look of the smaller ones. It took me a long time but I finally found them. I really like how they look.

Below is a before and after on the rear pins.
