Damn computer wire for camera is not wrking so no picks. This Truck RIPS

last night race went great. Stable smooth. needs just a little more turn in bite for the track i race on.I really Really wish i had an out door track

to let her loose on get some air and see how she sets up and corners. wait for the ground to thawwwwww and dryyyyyyy

I couldnt of ask for much better results for first suspension set up. Gots me sum refinements though but thats what makes this FUNNN

I race it twice a week indoors, took her outside for the first time and ran on dirt. YAAAAAAAA that was awsome....Her is pick from a little while ago...

You should make a couple more of those chassis and put 'em in the BST!

Paul, would your order be for an orange one

, This one came out a bit shorter than i would like im thinking of doing a new chassis and making it a 1/2 inch longer. i have even thought of doing a fiberglass chassis. That would be less tramatic than cutting up chassis for projects. Learnig how to set a stamp machine for a tub would be super cool...anyone know how.

'glass would be cool, just trim it out to make it lighter, and make it a double decker.
making a die and form for a chassis is easy enough to accomplish, though it will take some time. then you will need access to a pretty hefty press to stamp the chassis.
you are probably better off doing something like making an aluminum pan, and bending up the edges, like the traxxas bullet style, along the outside edge, then use an upper deck.
someone on here has a chassis that was make out of three pieces, a bottom plate, and two sides, all welded up. that is another option, however, to gain the strength back, in either case of forming your own, or welding one up, you should have it heat-treated to at least a t3 temper, preferably t6

Iv raced the hell out of it Worked even better in the dirt. She Reallty Liked the Rough Tracks. Not being allowed to To Race it at NW shortcourse event really Had me pissed earlier in the year. Most of the Outdoor tracks lately seem to be shared with 8th nitro. Those rigs rip tracks apart. The SC10t Is a little heavier than my SC10 and worked great. When i Get the new chassis started i will post new picks

I just joined here, and came across this thread and was reading through it with much interest. Then I cam to the part where they outlawed you at the NWSCC race and I thought it pretty much sucked.
Seems to me this hobby started with the "garage-built" rigs, and that's where all the advances and changes were made in this hobby. I don't care if you're talking about the first RC10s or the original Losi cars, they all came out of garage shops, and they were all getting raced before they were available to the masses.
Seems like today they're so obsessed with the "spec-racing" crapola that people have forgotten the little guy, or the guy ingenious enough to come up with something on their own. Meanwhile people still seem to forget that when one of the major manufacturers shows up with a new part or new car, they're racing prototype stuff in many cases and anything that's been released for 2-weeks is only done so in "very" limited numbers (it's not like there's mass availability).
Anyway, I was thinking about doing something similar and was pleased to see someone had already done it. What a great idea.
So what are the plans with the "new" chassis?

WooHoo..Rebuilt-(Using the old Chassis I havnt done a new chassis yet) rippn up the tracks...This truck is so much fun outdoors...Very Stable and corners awsome...Ran on local carpet offroad track and hauls A$$ too...

A bit narrow front and back...This has not been an issue so much in the dirt..But i really have to nock off speed before the corners on carpet....It took a few laps To pull my head outa my butt from driving the sc10..It is a 30x70 track 7-8ft lanes..I took off the slipper and used a ds hub for the spur Runn indoors...I had been previosly running the RPM tranny..With the higher gear ratio set ups for Brushless.. I think the stock tranny works Great..and I can go to the newer Slipper if i need....the orig set up i was using the 3deg inner mounts...I changed to 0 in and three on the outer and like it more...Also gave me a bit more WB which i think helped outside...
