I wanna say Thorp? 5mm inner? Thinking the Thorp top gear for the Ultima 48 pitch ball diff set up? I know I've seen it before, only thing that comes to mind.
Ding Ding Ding Ding!!! We have a winnah!!! :) I've got one of those too, just wish I could find all the parts to rebuild the diff without dropping a bunch of coin...
thanks guys. i had feeling it was a thorp part, and kinda figured it would end up being for a kyosho.

Sorry! Not a Thorp Mfg. Part, but it is an MIP part for the Ultima Super diff.

Well THAT'S convenient Aaron, 4 posts after I mention that I'd love to find parts to rebuild mine, you "just happen" to have the parts I need NIP.   Who am I kidding, I need more parts in tackle boxes like I need a hole in the head! :)

I am really starting to think that scr8p is a closet Kyosho collector, why else would he have a part like this laying around....?

so i'm guessing this diff gear goes with it then? i was thinking the outdrive and thrust washers might be part of it too, but they look too small.

Hey, I have those top three diff pieces! They came in a JCAR DDS tranny, but now I know who made them and how they're assembled.

Hey RC10resto, I saw your profile pic and thought you might be the one to ask. Back in '93 I bought an rc10 that had been converted to a Big Boy Toys sprint car. I sold it to my uncle shortly after that and on a whim a few weeks ago asked him if he still had it....So, here I am trying to rebuild it, and I'm having the hardest time finding matching front/rear wheels and tires that even resemble the ones that are on it now but obviously dry rot. The rear wheel/tire in your profile pic is exactly what I looking for however, I don't necessarily need aluminum wheels. Any idea what kind of wheels & adapters these are?

I was just browsing eBay and noticed theres a diff similar to this one listed. The header card says Nova on it. I can't remember for sure but it rings a bell as the manufacture of the one I bid on last winter.

Is that one you got from me Coel (can't remember if I sold you one or not...)? Just curious if it fit and if it matched the chain...?

It's a one way by the way Lowgear.

Yes adam, good memory. After doing a bunch of research and asking around about the performance differences with/without a one-way diff, I decided against installing it in the CYANide Barracuda.

Yeah, I was pointing out that the one in this thread and the one in the auction were probably made by the same company.

Speaking of one-way diffs, I have one thats going in my Optima Mid build as I read they're used in dirt oval cars.
