Finally got a good Sunday out on the boat to head down the James River to the area of Jamestown. I have been trying this trip for two years, but weather, wave height, etc etc has kept it from happening. Today was a perfect day on the river!!

This is Jamestown from the water. The first permanent English settlement in the Americas:

Kariotahi beach on New Zealand's west coast, near Waiuku and Pukekohe, bit of evening surfcasting with a great sunset.
Slowly getting lighter in the afternoons as summer rolls in.
