Hey Paul! They're really fun to drive but really different as well. The newer cars basically drive themselves but you actually have to wheel these around the track. The supercup was a goodshowing for the rc10s with a goodbit of luck too! Lets know if you need any help getting your RC10 going and we'll hook you up. I cant wait to have a vintage class and see how many people join in on it! I want to see how it effects the entry level in the regular stock class. On a good day we'll already have a full field of vintage cars so, we'll see!

What castor blocks is Jeremy running on the front of his rc10 in that first video?

Why start a vintage class? If you guys are spanking the newer cars isn't that a slap in the face of the manufacturing companies. Maybe they will get the point that they need to step up the bar when they see 20 year old cars making there stuff look like junk. AE included!

My dad and I actually discussed that today. I asked him if we were going to try and get our own vintage class tomorrow because we'll have at least 4 RC10's. We both came up with the answer; run them in stock for 2 reasons... More competion and to prove a point. The point proving doesnt really involve me because I wasnt born with this car came out. But the more competion certainly helps.

The reason I asked about the castor blocks is watching the videos, it looks like your car had 30* blocks on the car. Not because I could see them, but because of how the car was cornering. Don't take this the wrong way, but judging by the way the car was running, I really think it would benefit the car (and you in turn) to run a 25* block up front. It appeared to be lazy entering and into the middle of the turn. This seemed to make the car late and throw off your timing. Have you always run the 30* up front? I am currently re-building a black chassis team car to worlds spec, as a runner and have really enjoyed looking at the build pics you guys have posted. Anyways, don't take the critisism negatively, just trying to offer up some observations. -Jeff

Youre very RC intellegint, Jeff. That is exactly what it was doing. The car had horrible push. The next week we went to a track in Datyona Beach, FL and with the magic touch of Ruffy and some minor changes like shock postion and a diff re-build the car works a lot better! But one thing is for certain, I will keep the caster block tip in mind! . Thank You!

My 13 year old son was racing his rc10 at the weekend there were 10 car heats 7 B4'S 2 X6'S and his RC10 .It want realy well came 4th in every heat did not finish the final because it rained really bad and the car stopped water in the electrics i think.

25 degree B4 blocks. They are not 30 degree.

Here's some video from the most recent race. We were told that the giant car killer jump was gone. Well, not exactly!! It's not as extreme as before and they changed the landing a little, but as you can see (and hear) the cars still land a little too hard for my liking. Anybody else want to take their vintage car racing on a track like this???

The results weren't what we would have liked, but today's tracks seem to create more of a luck factor than skill. Nobody from our camp was on their game either. Bad track + bad day = bad results.

So, a 25* B4 castor block should have 0* castor built in, and end up being 30* on the tub RC10 ? -Jeff

i guess track owners feel the need to put freakishly large jumps on their tracks so guys break stuff and spend more money, huh?
