I can't believe it's only $400. That's less than an F350 or a High LIft and it's 10x cooler. I've been seriously thinking about getting one, even though I've got a Mountaineer and don't need another scale Toyota slowmobile. It is just so cool though! Plus, it's a kit!

I like that that Trailfinder actually LOOKS like a real truck.

It says not in stock because it's not available yet. I emailed RC4WD and they said they will start shipping in mid Feb. Right now you just sign up to get on the waiting list.

I agree, If RC4WD can produce that truck for 400 they will sell the hell out of them. I have my local shop trying to pre-order them lol.

that is soooo nice.
I'm on the waiting list for that. While I have no real interest in crawling, my dad bought that 1:1 Yota when I was 5 ( same color too ) time to do a copy of the truck I rode shotgun in for 12 years 8)

Those ABC guys do a pretty good job on the Hondas!...as soon as they come up a Ridgeline, I'm in!

Are they a European thing only, or are they available in the US?

Those Civics are beautiful. Anyone know of niche RC manufacturers like the guys doing the Toyota 4WD and these Hondas but instead focusing on old BMW's? Would love to have a scale version of my own 1980 BMW M535i.

Looks like it will almost be like the original....

Tamiya really did it, it will come on the original chassis with some great improvements, tomorrow we will report from Nuremberg Fair with live photos.

58519 1/10 R/C Toyota 4×4 Pick Up Bruiser (RN36)

Tamiya’s R/C Toyota Bruiser was originally released in 1985 and Tamiya has answered fans’ calls to give this popular pick-up truck model the special re-release treatment. The original layout of the chassis has been kept while modern improvements have been discretely incorporated.

About the Model

*This is a 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit.

*Kit includes FREE BONUS PARTS (Cleaning Brush x1) which are for EXPORT ONLY and are subject to the FIRST PRODUCTION.

* Bonus cleaning brush features 2 types of bristles and an ergonomic handle. (Brush will not be available for purchase as a separate item). The form of the Bruiser, including the sleeper cab, has been reproduced with a durable injection-molded body.

* Metal ladder frame chassis keeps the original layout and features a black-finished surface.

* Newly-designed die-cast transmission is equipped with planetary gears for optimized gear ratio.

* Refined clutch mechanisms offer smooth gear changes and superb durability. 3 gears are possible (1st gear=4WD, 2nd & 3rd gears=Rear Wheel Drive).

* Newly-designed front/rear axle housings are equipped with differential, which may be locked for even greater off-road performance.

* Separately available LEDs can be installed in the light cases to depict realistic head and tail lights.

* Type 540 motor included.

I wonder if the tires will still be rock hard or made in a softer compound.

Did anyone else hear the announcer's voice used in the promotional videos back in the 80s in their head when reading the description of the re-release Bruiser?
