Header is finished and in the truck, put white epoxy on the pressure fitting, and finished smoothing out the tank (not perfect but close)

Fingers crossed, all that's left is the radio parts. Does anyone know if Airtronics ran there own special receiver battery holders? On the box it looks like a shrink wrapped AA holder pack. I want to make sure I look in the right direction when I purchase.

I was thinking the same about the steering servo. The zip ties on the pipe coupler are wrong, too thin.

Love your attention to detail!

Servos and receiver pack are next. I found the servo arms just waiting on them. And you're right Rod. The zip ties are a little thin on the exhaust coupler and the receiver. I might have some laying around but last I checked the ones I had were too big.

Thanks guys. This is definitely my most prized car. And has been a long time favorite car of mine. I was just telling someone recently how when I was a young kid seeing the box art two page spread. I had a paperclip on the page so I could flip to it faster just to look at it. It has taken me a long time to own that truck I dreamed of. Now it's staying forever.

It was definitely a killer truck in its day. "It won every national championship it was in".

This is the last update to my now 100% finished replica. I want to put a special thank you to Curtis Husting for being an extremely nice and helpful person as well as doing all the legwork in getting my truck signed by the three people responsible for designing and testing the RC10GT.
