looks great. just be careful with that rear spoiler. the nice thing is the lexan is putting some weight really down low to help make it stable. and you made a nice air splitter up front too. not sure how you are fixing the lower part to the body, but you could use hot glue, it's pretty good adhesive and it's also easily removed if need be.

I put the spoiler back on last night after the paint dried. I flattened it out so its more of an extension off the back of the car rather than a spoiler. I added the splitter to hopefully aid in keeping the front end down. Right now I have the bottom attached using that 3m high strength tape. If I find it wanting to pull off and it proves to be effective ill attach it with hardware.

Well.......went out testing. Lets just say things didn't go nearly as good as they could have :(

Here is how it started about an hour ago.

And now......Oh you poor Lumina :D

Car itself is still holding up like champ. A slightly loose front body mount is all that is wrong with the chassis. I think this is pretty good once you see the videos I'm uploading here in a min.

I was just wondering what kind of paint you used to paint that? seems odd that it all flaked off like that if it was paint for lexan.

It kinda looks like it got sand blasted from the wheels whipping up dirt/bits of foam into the body?

Your lucky you had that body mounted the way you did with the bottom plate and all. I think it really protected your inner chassis and components well, almost as if it was in a balloon.

Pretty sure this is when the remaining paint was lost, and yes, I did buy the wrong paint.

I pulled it right before I hit myself and hit the wall pretty hard
This is also one of the faster ones It did. I should have taken the other gears with me to try out. But I think its still geared too high. Just doesn't seem like its wanting to pull any faster.

When I was calibrating the ESC. No matter how many times I tried. The motor kept running in reverse. Tried reversing at the radio then switching the reverse switch after it was calibrated. It eventually defeated me and I just switched one of the wires at the motor. Is this normal and does doing that have any ill affect on the motor. Good time to be asking now huh.....
