Yesterday was the AFL (Australian Football League) Grand Final (think SuperBowl, but with cheaper ad space)... so in honour of the occasion, we had hot dogs with cheese and onion for lunch, and pizza afterwards - all vegan, of course! Sorry there's no photos this time, it was just too tasty to look at!!!

Looks good Brocklee. Cream Cheese works really well too.

Here's an easy side dish I make quite a bit. Melt 1/2 cup of margarine in the microwave with a teaspoon or so of garlic. Pour it into a pie pan, line the pan with those miniature biscuits that come 10 to a can and top them with cheddar. Bake at 400 F until they look about like this. Don't under cook them or the middle stays doughy. Crazy good and simple.

I want to try those Ken, what is the name of the biscuits?
I am in the middle of getting a Prime Rib steak and a few lobster tails ready for tonight.
Home alone this weekend, should be a great time!

Sounds good Dave. I prefer to cook for myself sometimes. No compromises.

They're just the small biscuits that come 10 to a can, usually sold in 4 packs for like $1.50. Basically free. I put a Redd's next to it for scale.

Enjoy your weekend.

When the wife's away my daughter and I can always make our favorite homemade pie. A simple pepperoni with extra cheese.

I'm a lil reluctant to say you have a nice looking pie, but nice pie thumbs

Made a chicken Parmesan pizza pie with Siracha the other day...damn it was good!
